Mission
Our objective is simple: keep the lights on and learn as little about you as we can. Here is what the field report contains.
Server logs
Every visit leaves a trace in the host’s logbook: your IP address, the time, and the page requested. Those entries help us spot faults and repel intruders. Nobody here reads them for fun.
Cookies
Only the cookies the site needs to function are issued. Think of them as a gate pass, not a tracking beacon. You may refuse them in your browser settings, though some features may then stall.
Comments
Where comments are switched on, a dispatch needs your name, e-mail and message text. The e-mail address stays hidden from the public. Please leave out anything you would not shout across a parade ground.
Mail to base
Write to us and we keep your message plus our reply, just long enough to finish the conversation.
Exceptions
- No data is sold, rented or traded to any third party.
- No advertising profiles are built from your visits.
- Logs are rotated out after a few weeks; comments and mail are deleted once they have served their purpose, or on request.
- If the law demands a record, we must comply, and only then.
Debrief
You may ask to see, correct or erase whatever we hold under your name. Send a message to the address above, and we will answer within a reasonable number of days. Identifying details may be requested so that nobody else can claim your file.
Recruits under sixteen should clear things with a parent or guardian before commenting or writing in.
Orders change. When this briefing is revised, the new text replaces the old one on this page with a fresh date.
